Lindsey Breuer-Barnes is an editor at Skyhorse Publishing in New York City. She graduated with a degree in classics from Princeton University and interned at a literary agency before landing in editorial.
Some of her recent and forthcoming nonfiction titles include A Travel Junkie’s Diary: Searching for Mare’s Milk and Other Far-Flung Pursuits; Memoir Your Way: Tell Your Story through Writing, Recipes, Quilts, Graphic Novels, and More; A Good Man with a Dog: A Game Warden’s 25 Years in the Maine Woods; and Liar’s Code: Growing Up Fishing.
Currently, Lindsey is looking for creative or practical nonfiction titles that elucidate interesting subjects or make you think twice about daily life. Although much of her list fits in the practical outdoors category, including shooting, hunting, fishing, outdoors cooking, and nature titles, she is interested in all manner of nonfiction topics, especially animals, nature essays, food and exercise trends, (some) memoir, and historical subjects.
